About

I'm Andria Dawn, a muralist and public art creator. I believe that art has the ability to transform communities and paradigms, and can be a powerful tool for education and change.  My personal mission is to contribute to a better world with beautiful and inspiring visual art. Art uplifts the heart and soul, and it’s something we can all use a little more of in our streets, communities and lives.

I often use many mixed-media elements as I create, and I always like to learn and experience something new by exploring various techniques and genres of art. My skills range from fine art painter to builder and sculptor, having worked around the world on multiple large-scale art installations. Something noteworthy about my style is I often incorporate found and reclaimed materials into my work (I mean.. it’s got to go somewhere, right?) adding texture, interest, and innovation.

Since 2011 I’ve collaborated far and wide with such organizations as Burning Man, Envision Festival (Costa Rica), Eco-village Chambalabamba (Ecuador), Electric Forest Festival, Joshua Tree Music Festival, Sacramento City Arts, Oakland's Art Murmur & more.

I hope you enjoy exploring my work! If you'd like to learn more about me and my work, or if you’re interested in a commissioned mural or art installation, please feel free to message me on my “Contact” page.
